I recently stayed at a charming bed and breakfast in Lybster called Lemon Tree. Mark and Lynn, the owners, went above and beyond to ensure my son and I had a wonderful stay. They treated us like family, providing helpful advice on local attractions and even sharing a drink with me. The location was stunning, with beautiful views, and our room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and they even provided extra amenities like toothbrushes and a heated blanket. I highly recommend this home away from home.
Can just recommend this hotel.

Sea View: I was in awe when I entered the room and saw the breathtaking sea view. It felt like I was transported into a picture-perfect postcard, with the waves crashing against the shore. It was a truly magical experience.
Lack of Signage: The only minor issue I had was the lack of signage leading to the B&B. It would have been helpful to have clear directions, especially since it's advertised on the John O'Groats website.

The room at Lemon Tree was awesome! I loved the private entrance, it made me feel like I had my own little hideaway. And the tea/coffee maker was a lifesaver in the morning. Plus, the flat-screen TV was a nice touch for some evening entertainment. I felt cozy and at home in this room.
I personally found the tea/coffee maker a bit confusing to use, but that's just me. Others might find it totally fine.
